From 09 a 11 of April,the Historic Rally Fafe,part of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship (EHRC)stands out as a 100% gravel event,bringing historic rally cars from different eras back to some of Europe’s most iconic gravel stages.

The rally blends the classic DNA of motorsport with the raw challenge and beauty of pure gravel. Fast sections, technical stages, and demanding surfaces create a test where reliability, skill, and experience make the difference, all set within a landscape recognised internationally.

With Fafe as the heart of the action, the route also extends to the neighbouring municipalities of Felgueiras, Cabeceiras de Basto e Boticasexploring legendary roads that helped shape the history of rallying in Portugal and across Europe.

Get ready for three days of pure gravel rallying, where the past comes alive in the present and every kilometre counts in a unique celebration of heritage, competition, and passion for rallying.

Victory for Christophe Jacob

The Belgian duo Christophe Jacob/Isabelle Regnier, driving a Ford Escort RS 1800, secured their first-ever victory in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship (EHRC) on gravel this Saturday. They won the Historic Rally Fafe by a margin of 19.2s over Spaniards Jesus Ferreiro Perez and Javier Anido Vasquez, also in a Ford Escort RS 1800, who are the reigning Category 3 champions.

Christophe Jacob doesn't back down

The Belgian duo Christophe Jacob/Isabelle Regnier, in a Ford Escort RS 1800, maintains the lead of the Historic Rally Fafe—the opening round of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship on gravel—after completing the first half of the second and final stage. Jacob set two fastest times, extending his lead over his closest rival, who is now the Spaniard Jesus Ferreiro Perez (Ford Escort RS 1800), currently 26s behind.

Jacob consolidates lead
